Guess who dressed me!

7 21 2011
Dress: Thrifted
Belt: Off of some shorts
Necklace: Peacock Plume (similar)
Scarf: H&M
Shoes: Gojane
Purse: c/o Kie & Kate

If you’ve been reading for a bit, you know today is Paper Doll Project day, and EBEW thrifted day (damn you Liz and Linda for making them overlap!). So, the lovely bloggers that signed up were each randomly matched with someone else, and I got Kara!

Now, I may not talk about her as much as Luze, but I adore Kara’s sense of style and obviously her use of colors, so I was really, really excited that she’d get to tell me what to wear. And she didn’t disappoint!

Please take some time to visit the other pairings to see how they styled each other, and maybe take a trip over the EBEW to see all the thrifted items we’re wearing today.

Rain is really cramping my style. Literally.

Top: borrowed from Liz
Socks: c/o We Love Colors
Necklace: Bella Dawn
Jeans: Old Navy

Rain is really getting in my way. It’s been going on much too long. I’m getting sick of not taking photos, or feeling like I want to take them, only to have it start raining. Ugh.

Bella Dawn sent me this necklace to review. I’m fairly certain they picked this one because it’s super bright! Anyway, you’ve already seen me wear it a few times, like here and here. And I gotta say, it’s a pretty awesome necklace. I tossed it into my suitcase a few weekends ago to visit my sister, and it didn’t even tangle. It has a decent weight to it, so it’s not one of those necklaces that feels like it’s only made of plastic. My neck hasn’t turned green and I haven’t had a reaction, so it’s also not made with cheap products either.

I really like this necklace (and not just because of the color!). It’s still available on their website, if you’re interested.

And to my other point of business for the day. I wasn’t planning to host another Paper Doll Project until July, but it appears as though many people are really excited about the project. So, I’m going to let you guys vote.
If we did one sooner, it would be June 21th. If we waited until July, it would be July 19th. Pick one, both, or suggest an alternative date in the comments.

May edition of the Paper Doll Project

Today is the May edition of the Paper Doll Project. What’s that you say? Well, it’s a fun project every other month (next one will be in July), where you sign up and are randomly partnered with another person. You style each other for the day and post your looks on the same day, announcing who styled you.

Liz styled me, but because I was so exhausted, I really don’t like the photo. The outfit is awesome, even if I couldn’t find the EXACT skirt Liz wanted me to wear. I added the mustache to try and hide the fact that my face was just melting with exhaustion. The cartoon-y ‘stache kinda hides it, right?
