Favorites from the past week

Since I don’t tend to take photos over the weekend, simply because I’m either in jeans, sweats or Pjs, I decided to try something new. I’ve compiled a few of my favorite looks and posts from the past week, and I’m going to share them with all of you.
(all photos link to the original post, and photos are borrowed from the post I’m writing about)

First is from Rock ‘n Roll Bride. I’ve been following her since before she was a .com and was still a .blogspot.com (and I nearly cried the day she switched, because I thought the blog disappeared! It took me about five minutes to realize what was going on!). She even posted about my wedding last year (check it out here!)

She did a phenomenal photoshoot in a vintage dress, with her pink hair in a faux-hawk.

Alya from kookulai rocks it in shorts and a striped tee from H&M. She manages to look cool and effortless at the same time. We all know how much I love bows, so how could I pass this look up?

Kristin from Leproust Vintage is one of my style icons. I got into the fashion blogging world much later than everyone else, but as soon as I found her blog, I was excited. It’s one of my daily reads, and she always looks so put together. I envy that haircut! Anyone who wears red lipstick, with red hair and a red dress is a friend of mine! (we all know how much I don’t pay attention to silly things like color!)

V’s wearing the shoes Cher almost bought, and a sweater I would love to curl up in. I’m loving the casual look with the sweater, but the awesome cutout shoes add a whole new dimension.

I think I’ve said it before, but I’m going to say it again – I want to raid Jenni’s closet. Surely she doesn’t need all these fun printed dresses? Maybe? No? Ok, fine. I won’t. Instead I’ll just pine away from my own high-waisted bright blue skirt like she found.

This post is hard to describe. It’s one of those that just needs to be seen. The shoes follow along to the song “Hate on Me” from Glee. They also all link to the location they can be purchased. Love!

And, finally, I shall leave you all with this adorable LOL cat, that behaves very similar to Loafy.
